The riders are home. They flew into Dulles International Airport around 3:20pm today and we picked them up. They are already talking about doing a Century Ride Labor Day Weekend.
I'll post some of the pictures Karl took with his good camera when I get a chance, which might not be until next weekend.
Karl and Zach, this is Ann Howley. My husband, Pat, and I met you when you were riding through the Pittsburgh area on your Big Adventure a few years ago and stopped for breakfast at a trailside cafe. We followed your blog all the way to San Diego and were very inspired by your journey! Pat and I rode with our kids in July 2013 from Connellsville PA to Washington DC, which was a fabulous experience. I was thinking about you because I'm writing an article for Pittsburgh Parent Magazine about bikepacking with your kids and remembered your incredible journey. I also thought you might enjoy the article I wrote for Bicycle Times Magazine about our trip.
