Karl and Zach rode another 78 miles on the Katy trail today for a total of 1536 miles so far. They started in Boonville, Missouri and ended in Clinton, Missouri. Today was their last day on the Katy trail. They rode over the highest point of the Katy trail today. They met more people riding their bikes across the country today some starting in San Francisco and other starting in Oregon. They saw some calves, a cow or bull, some deer and more turtles on the trail today.

Karl sent two pictures of the capital building in Jefferson City from their ride yesterday.

This picture he sent appears to be on the tunnel on the trail they went through the other day. The foreground  with Zach is really washed out but  the tunnel came out okay so I thought I would post it.

The next three pictures are from today's ride. The first is of one of the animals they saw on the trail today. The second is a sign showing the highest elevation point on the Katy trail and the third is of the trail head at Clinton. Karl told me most of the trail heads on the trail are similar to this one.

The final two pictures Karl asked me to post are pictures we sent to the rides today from home. Besides holding the sign, Samantha was blowing them a kiss and Sammy was giving them the sign language sign for I love you.
