Karl said they wanted to stay at a campground last night but when he called he was told they were updating the bathrooms so there weren't any showers so they ended up at a hotel. They crossed the Rio Grande River today just outside of Las Cruces. They were on Interstate 10 for 10 miles today and when through a border crossing. The saw little dust twisters on their ride today. Riding was made a little easier today because they had a tailwind. Karl mentioned he had a flat tire today and that reminded him that he forgot to tell me that Zach had a flat tire yesterday.

Hello to Karl and Zach. It's amazing what you have accomplished! We would love to do more bike tours. But across the country? We'd have to be "Karl & Zach Tough" to do that! Stay cool, stay dry and keep up the good work!
