Today, Karl and Zach reached the end of their 7th week of riding today. They rode 64 miles from Deming, New Mexico to Lordsburg, New Mexico bring their total mileage to 2741. The crossed the Continental Divide today. Three miles from the hotel, Zach noticed one of his tires was losing air. They put air in the tire and were able to make it the to their hotel before it needed to be changed, which was lucky for them because a thunderstorm was headed their way. Zach was working the tire as Karl talked to me on the phone. Karl told me so far Zach had pulled 3 wires and a thorn out of his tire. He said every time they have a flat they check the tire closely to try to get everything out of it that could cause a leak.

Tomorrow, the should cross into Arizona.
